Professor

You are the wind of autumn You shattered my tree The leaves of my knowledge Touched your love Whenever they fall I rise in wisdom I don't want to rise I want to fall Only to kiss your earth To crumble in your heart Dance with the wind of your imagination On my finger tips Over my trembling lips With melody deep as dawoods (a.s) voice Oh, you healed this scattered heart Wandering imagination You are a song You melted my frozen lake A song to fall like rain on my head Song I would listen to ceaselessly Now there are Fires of these songs Deep as an impassable abyss Thank you PROFESSOR Because you gave me a silence That felt like home
